Managing Director

Raphael Kolenko

Raphael is the founding inventor of the Carbon Cap technology and currently spearheads the day-to-day company operation. Raphael also serves as CEO at Moristic Group Canada which oversees several business units.

Raphael’s experience spans nearly 4 decades across several sectors from food and beverage processing, durable goods, and manufacturing.

Most of this has involved developing the businesses from initial concept to commercialization. During this process, Raphael has successfully raised venture capital and ODC/EDC/SDTC government grants. Raphael currently holds several patents in the United States, Canada, and EU.

Business Developer and Analyst

Rachel Kolenko

As a business analyst, developer and marketing strategist, Rachel’s competencies at Carbon Cap includes analyzing, maintaining and developing business processes. She holds the Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). Along with Rachel’s academic interests she has a passion for sustainability and has been studying heat recovery alongside her father.

Engineering Technologist

Kevin Wazny

Kevin Wazny is a mechatronic systems technologist with 7+ years of experience in the aviation and defense industries.

Experienced with troubleshooting and repair of sophisticated electro-optic gimbal systems down to individual component level devices such as linear actuators, electric motors, and electronic control circuitry. Currently, Kevin is responsible for designing and implementing the electrical design and control strategy of the Carbon Cap patented flue gas recovery system.

Kevin Wazny

G1 Gas Technician

Bill Lishiniski

Bill is a combustion technician with a TSSA G-1 Certificate. Bill has 25 plus years of installing and servicing various types of industrial burner systems and controls. Bill spent 14 years with Reliance Home Comfort as the technical lead for their commercial division and 10 years at Union Gas. Bill now operates Mt. Hope Heating and Cooling and Water Heaters R Us for past 10 years. In addition to Bills G-1 licensee, he holds a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning certificate from the Ontario College of Trades. Bill has been working as a part-time G-3 gas technician instructor at Mohawk College.

Intellectual Properties Manager

Angelo Procopio

Angelo graduated from McMaster University with an HBA in Humanities. Originally born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Angelo has spent most of his life in Hamilton. After a few years of working as a Bilingual Claims Specialist, he saw the value of helping other disabled people and pursued this calling. Angelo founded WorkAid & Associates Professional Corporation (1997) and has represented hundreds of disabled and injured workers assisting them in claims to recover millions of dollars for over 20 years. In 2017 Angelo has begun another chapter in his life by now dedicating time and resources toward sustainable solutions and oversees Carbon Caps intellectual property rights.

Mark Joined the Carbon Cap initiative in 2021 bringing several decades of expertise in automation controls, sourcing and servicing mechanical components for manufacturing and processing industries.

Jaydeep Prajapati is an electrical engineer who specializes in power systems, instrumentation, and controls. He makes use of his abilities to advance society and the environment. Jaydeep contributes to the automation and control activities of the FGR with a breadth of electrical expertise including the nuclear energy sector, which is another source of clean energy for our planet.
